Lute Wassmann: Select Paintings

My father, Lute Wassmann, was an industrial designer by vocation from the late 1950s through the early 70s. His design experience was varied and included work with ECKO Kitchenware, Container Corporation, and Rand McNally where he worked on exhibit design, Bell and Howell, and Allied Radio Corporation where he designed radios. My father retired from the design world in the late 80s, and it was only then that he began in earnest to paint in oils. He painted (or did some sort of creative work) every day in his Wilmette, Illinois home-studio until he died in 2018 at the age of 92. — Annie Wassmann
